This session will be delivered by Sally Nieman, Professional Social Work Educator (Adults) in London Borough of Camden and HCPC CPD assessor.

The re-registration period for social workers in England begins on 01 September 2018 and ends on 30 November 2018. Maintaining continuing professional development (CPD) is a requirement of re-registration; the HCPC select 2.5% of registered social workers to provide evidence of how they have met the HCPC’s CPD standards over the last two years. They must submit a written profile, supported by evidence.

The session aims to support social workers who have been selected for audit as part of HCPC re-registration and will help you to understand:

  • HCPC requirements
  • The audit process and profile structure

You will have an opportunity to discuss any challenges in getting your portfolio completed, answer any questions you may have about the re-registration process and spend some time individually and in groups to get you thinking.

*This event is only open to social workers and practitioners working in social care within our Partner organisations, comprising of Barnet, Camden, Enfield, Hackney, Haringey and Islington councils, the charity Norwood and Middlesex University.
