Presenters

Jac Shelley has over 25 years’ experience working in children and families social care as a social worker, clinical manager, and registered manager. Since 2002, she has worked as a registered systemic psychotherapist and is currently employed in a joint NHS and Local Authority initiative that is embedding a systemic approach into social work practice. Jac was also involved in Research in Practice’s, Practice Supervisor Development Programme (PSDP) for four years which provided 1:1 reflective conversations to supervisors and senior managers.

Jac is a passionate advocate of providing reflective and reflexive spaces where practitioners are given opportunities to ‘think things through.’ Using a psychosocial and systemic approach. Jac invites practitioners to explore “who are you” and how our answer to this question is informed by our personal, professional, and political voice and what we choose to privilege moment by moment and why.
